Govt. Approval

Approvals & Recognition

Government approval, secured and current.

PESIMSR operates under the permission of the Government of Andhra Pradesh and is renewed annually in line with national medical education norms. Every intake cycle is backed by a valid Letter of Permission before admissions open.

This page summarises our government approval status alongside our NMC recognition and MARB assessment history — the three pillars that keep every PESIMSR degree valid and transferable.

How Approval Works

A yearly cycle of verification

Before any medical college in India can admit students, it must hold a valid Essentiality Certificate and Letter of Permission from the state government, in addition to central recognition. PESIMSR's approval is reviewed and renewed each academic year as part of this process.

The cycle begins with an infrastructure and compliance review, followed by submission to the regulatory authorities, and concludes with the issue of a renewed permission letter ahead of the admissions season.

  • Essentiality Certificate issued by the state government
  • Consent of Affiliation from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences
  • Letter of Permission renewed ahead of every admission cycle
  • Compliance verified against NMC infrastructure & faculty norms
